At age 12, Maren Morris is an up and comer in the North Texas area. Maren has a strong bluesy voice and loads of potential.

Maren Morris

Maren is currently recording her debut CD and we'll have more on that as it becomes available.

Wade Stockton and the Sons of the Redneck Riviera

Wade Stockton

I really enjoyed these guys. Nice to hear some different bands...these guys are from the Victoria area, which happens to be referred to by the locals as "the Redneck Riviera".

Wade can tear up that electric fiddle!

This popular band from Dallas entertained the crowd with tunes from their new CD, "Uneasy", as well as favorites from their earlier CD's.

Don't know this guy's name but I enjoyed watching him play

3 Fools on 3 Stools

One of the funniest yet most musically entertaining acts in the North Texas area. Fools Rule!

Doc Wesson

One of the original fools, Doc is one of the most humorous writers in Texas. And his stage presence doesn't lack either as he can deliver the goods in only the way Doc can do.

Tommy Alverson

One of the original fools

Curtis Tilton

The third original fool.

Diamond Jim Richmond sits in with the fools

Twin fiddles! Ah ha!

After Johnny Bush's set, Johnny called Tommy and Janie up on stage

They had no idea why

Until his friends presented him with a "thank you" gift for all Tommy's done for Texas music and the Texas music family

Joe holds up the gift, a neon sign in the form of Tommy Alverson's signature

Tommy is overwhelmed

But wait, there's more!

It's Janie's turn.

Janie is crowned "Queen of Texas Country Music", complete with tiara and some beautiful yellow roses

The crowd cheers!

And Janie cries.

Tommy says thanks.
